Mental Skills

Mental skills are just as important to injury prevention as physical skills, preparation and body awareness.  Knowing how to respond to the stress of competition and practice as well as having specific goals allows athletes to stay within a healthy spectrum.

Our mental skills sessions will begin with an initial meeting to go over what the athlete requires.  From there their individualized program will be designed.  Areas of focus will range from self reflection, confidence, goal setting, self talk, emotions, imagery, ideal performance state and stress management.
